Hero?

Hey, I like the New York cop story where he buys a homeless man a pair of shoes and socks. I really do. I just don’t think he’s a hero for doing it. We’ve reached a point as a society where a simple act of love from one person to another is extraordinary. I contend that it’s not the exception, but the rule. It’s not heroic to express love. It is a natural instinct that we actively suppress.
